Electrochemical
Grinding Equipment and Technology
At Everite, our mission is to add value for our customers through
the use of creative and innovative manufacturing technologies.
Electrochemical
Grinding Technology
Everite is the world's leader in advanced Electrochemical Grinding
technology. Electrochemical Grinding Equipment provides the ideal
machining process to deliver better, faster and more cost effective
metal cutting and grinding solution for the most challenging materials.
Electrochemical
Grinding Process Overview
Electrochemical Grinding, or ECG, is a variation of ECM (Electrochemical
Machining) that combines electrolytic activity with the physical
removal of material by means of charged grinding wheels.
What is
Electrochemical Grinding ?
Electrochemical Grinding Equipment (ECG) is an ideal machining process
that provides a better, faster, and more cost effective metal cutting
and grinding solution for today's toughest materials. Unlike conventional
grinding techniques, Electrochemical Grinding offers the ability
to machine difficult materials independent of their hardness or
strength.
Electrochemical
Grinding Advantages
Since Electrochemical Grinding Equipment does not rely on an abrasive
process, you receive precise cuts free of heat, stress, burrs and
mechanical distortions.
Electrochemical
Grinding Equipment
Everite provides a wide range of manual and CNC electromechanical
grinders and cutoff machines, for applications from prototypes to
high production. Custom machines and tooling are also available.
What
Materials Can be Machined?
Electrochemical Grinding Technology can machine any conductive or
reactive material.

Appliances
Appliance manufacturers turn to Everite for components that must
be manufactured to close tolerances in order to perform efficiently
for the life of their products. Our Innovatech
Division delivers within these tolerances in a high volume production
environment.
Automotive
Automotive industry manufacturing demands the cutting of hard-to-machine
materials in high volumes, without the need for secondary operations
such as deburring. Everite's cuttoff machines are delivering economical
solutions to our automotive-oriented customers in a variety of applications.
Industrial
Heaters
Manufacturers of Industrial Heaters utilize thin wall tubing made
from exotic material that must be cut burr-free, to tight tolerances.
The Innovatech Division
makes these cuts using Everite Ultracut Machines for customers whose
volume does not justify the purchase of their own machines.
Medical
Tools and Devices
Medical device manufacturers must machine exotic materials and fine
tubes without leaving burrs or putting undo stress on a manufactured
part. Everite's products are designed to provide economical and
reliable performance and are proven performers in the medical implant,
device and surgical tools industries.
Military
Hardware
Everite's roots are as a prime contractor for the Department of
Defense. We produce a wide array of parts for the Navy associated
with the catapult and arresting gear systems on aircraft carriers.

Surgical
Implants
Surgical implant manufacturing demands burr-free cutting and grinding
of exotic materials. The Innovatech
Division performs these operations using Everite Electrochemical
Grinding Machines for customers whose volume does not justify the
purchase of their own equipment.
Telecommunications
Manufacturers of telecommunications equipment utilize thin wall
tubing made from exotic materials that must be cut burr-free, and
to tight tolerances. The Innovatech Division makes these cuts using
Everite's Ultracut Machines for customers whose manufacturing volume
does not justify the purchase of their own equipment.
Other
Industries Served by Everite
Everite helps industries that manufacture components that move gasses
or fluids through small diameter thin wall tubing. Everite products
cut and machine these materials without deforming or creating burrs.
Everite is serving a variety of industries and applications utilizing
their complete line of cutting and grinding equipment.
